Troop 98 Huntsville, TX



Troop 98 is one of the oldest troops in Huntsville, TX. Troop 98 Scouts are very active in the outdoors with Camping, Canoeing, Hiking, Backpacking, Earning Merit Badges, Team Work, and Leadership Skills.  We are involved with the community as the Color Guard for the Lions Club Christmas Parade. We have participated in the Relay for Life, National Night Out, Airing of the Quilts, Folk Festival, Color Run with the Huntsville Police Department, and various organizations within the community. The boys have done service projects: Scouting for Food, Raven Ride with the Lions Club, Trail Cleaning at Eastham Thomason Park, School Supply Drive, One great day of service with the First United Methodist Church.

The troop has done summer camp in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and New Mexico.


Our troop meetings are held at the First United Methodist Church on Tuesday evenings from 7:15pm until 8:30pm. The Scoutmaster is David Gray who may be contacted at troop98huntsville@gmail.com.
